Project Call: Digital Twin for X
MxD has released a Request for Proposal (RFP) to fund the creation of two Digital Twins using the Digital Twin Consortium’s (DTC) Platform Stack Architectural Framework.
The possibility of digital twins to impact the manufacturing industry is immense and spans the entire product lifecycle from design to sustainment. However, no two digital twins are exactly alike—this makes them difficult to quantify in business terms. To provide value, a given digital twin implementation must match the fidelity and scope of the model to the type of problem being solved. Building on the Digital Twin Consortium (DTC) framework, this project call will fund the creation of two framework-compliant Digital Twins—one at a pilot manufacturer and one within MxD’s Future Factory.
This is a TIA Enterprise project that requires a minimum of 1:1 cost share.
This Project Call requires the submission of a White Paper, followed by a Technical and Cost Proposal submission by invitation only. MxD is piloting this process with this Project Call and will assess this modification to the process for future Project Calls.
